1. Drilling Platform
Equipped with multiple carbide drill bits arranged side-by-side. Driven by an independent primary motor for synchronous rotation, the system enables simultaneous multi-head drilling, allowing a full row of flange bolt holes to be processed in a single pass.
2. Positioning and Clamping Platform
The platform features multiple pneumatic clamps that rapidly secure the edges of the water tank panel, preventing any displacement during the drilling process.
3. CNC Control System (Fully Automatic Model)
Equipped with a programmable CNC controller, the system utilizes pre-programmed standard hole spacing parameters (industry-standard 100mm or 150mm spacing). It automatically controls drilling depth and feed rate, maintaining a stable precision of within ±0.5mm.
Operational Workflow
• Loading: Place the SMC water tank panel steadily onto the positioning platform. Pneumatic clamps automatically secure the panel in place.
• Positioning & Parameter Setup: The CNC system loads the program corresponding to the panel specifications and automatically calibrates the drilling positions.
• Multi-head Drilling: The drill platform descends to simultaneously machine the flange bolt holes. A rotary mechanism indexes the panel sides, allowing for the drilling of flange holes on all four edges in a single cycle.
• Unloading & Inspection: The drill bits retract, and the clamps release. The finished panel is removed; hole spacing and diameters meet standardized specifications, with no edge chipping or cracking.
